• Old Dominion Animal Hospital Updates

Greetings Old Dominion friends and family,

Old Dominion Animal Hospital VeterinariansDr. Davis returned from maternity in January, and we were so excited to have her back in the office! This summer we will be welcoming two new veterinarians that have recently graduated. We are eager to share more about them and welcome them to our family as we get closer to June.

There is still more to come! We are constantly striving to provide the highest level of veterinary care for your pets. In order to do that, we have to say goodbye to routines and hello to change.

We will break ground this Spring to begin construction at our Crozet location. This construction will be in conjunction with the Old Dominion Neighborhood groundbreaking. We are excited to create a space we can grow into that better suits our needs. We will be adding exam rooms, parking, and much more!

Old Dominion Animal Hospital Crozet VeterinariansCharlottesville will also be undergoing a large renovation this year. As we’ve grown, we have realized that we require a larger surgery suite and dedicated surgery space. We’re also limited by our building footprint, leading us to think creatively about how we could achieve our goals. After much consideration, we have decided to stop weekend/holiday and overnight boarding in May of 2023. Please visit our pet boarding page to learn more.

While it saddens us to have to say goodbye to this service, our boarding suite offers the perfect space for a new surgical area. Surgery appointments will have their own dedicated entrance, reception area, and recovery space.

We are excited about the growth that we are already imagining. We are beyond grateful for your continued trust and partnership in allowing Old Dominion Animal Hospital to care for your pet’s veterinary needs.

    Warmly,
Dr. Garrett Wood, Dr. Allison Kramer, Meredith West
